MARE partnered with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s  (NOAA) Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary to locate deep-sea corals and sponges within the sanctuary off the Olympic Coast of Washington State. MARE used the ROV Beagle to capture imagery of benthic habitats and collect invertebrate samples for identification in this mostly unexplored and unmapped sanctuary.
