Our Technology

ROBOTIC SURVEY FLEET

We design, build and repair underwater vehicles. ​Our monitoring tools can be used to collect detailed information on deep subtidal ecosystems and are equipped with an array of cameras, including stereo video, and monitoring probes such as temperature, oxygen and salinity sensors. Additionally, our vehicles can be equipped with manipulating arms and collection trays to assist in the recovery or collection of samples.

RESEARCH VESSEL

The TomCat is our 38 foot aluminum catamaran providing a stable, highly maneuverable workboat from which to operate equipment in coastal waters and bays.​
The TomCat is an efficient catamaran, reaching 20 knots in flat water. With a wide, open deck (13 foot beam), swim platform and drafts just 3 feet – the TomCat is ideal for shallow water sampling as well as open ocean work.
